Episode Two.Fourteen
Ravi and Sonia return after a Heroes-like hiatus for an Opening Day Edition of DriveTime. Boston Phoenix writer Mike Miliard climbs into Studio-V to talk about his Red Sox blog and the star pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka. As "Dice-K" always has a translator near at hand, Ravi provides Mike with his own Japanese translator: Momo Shinzawa. Together the foursome stumble upon THE catchphrase of the year, which Ravi quickly trademarks in the best interests of DriveTime.
And if that wasn't enough, Ravi dips into the trunk to fetch a bonus guest in an impromptu edition of "What's in the Trunk?"

Who's that ninja in the backseat?
sonia -- said "ninja" is properly introduced and would even have been linked in the episode description if her site didn't seem to be on hiatus... Lots of hiatuses (hiati?) going around!
The unofficial translator sitting in the back is my little sis! She might be the next official translator for Daisuke-san?! I love the phrase "get one japanese player and get another for free".
Daisuke Daisuki
Not gonna lie - that catch phrase is indeed fricking awesome.
Best epilogue in the history of DriveTime.
OMG that singing doll was "scaaaary" Ravi! Eeek!
Great show! I'm not usually into sports but it was fun watching this show. I'm really big on Japan stuff so I was happy to see you had a translator from Japan (not that I know that much japanese yet.)
FYI, Ganbatte means "Do well."
I didn't hear Momo say what it meant.
Anyhow, best show yet I think. :D
~L~
mu -- she's the official translator!
steve -- you may hear that chant on Wednesday, spilling out into JP!
cj -- thumbs up, indeed!
brian -- epilogue or code?!
lehsa -- thanks for the bonus Japanese translation!
