Just in time for hours of madcap holiday travel -- it's a DriveTime Thanksgiving Music Special! Ravi and Sonia reactivate the Front and BackSeat DriveTime Musical Studio for two-thirds of the band Jim's Big Ego, Jim and Dan. And a special Thanksgiving song triggers an anti-early-Christmas-music-rant from Ravi.
Jim's Big Ego Live in Studio V Set List:
- Mix Tape
- Turkey Turkey
- Love Everybody (outro excerpt)

I loved this episode! More of the outro! Can we see the whole song? It's so nice.
A rare comment from the co-host! (unless this is another sonia....)
I'll put together a DriveTime bonus edition with the full outro song (as I did for Apple Betty.)
Wow! LOVE Jim's Big Ego... really do! Originally heard their interview on NPR about 4 years ago... "aquired" some music.. then BOUGHT the CD's, shirt and stickers!
Matter of fact, even tried to shoot behind the scenes of the west coast tour year ago... but alas.. budget concerns.
In anycase... one of these days.. gonna see JBE live.
slp -- DriveTime prides itself on being at least four years behind NPR. Glad you enjoyed the show -- look for the full outro track tomorrow (a possible DriveTime theme song!)
Brilliant! I have learned that automobiles are great for performing because
1. The acoustics are great and
2. The audience is captive.

Keep up the good work, and remember the immortal words of Jim Morrison "keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel!"
notlob -- standing room only!
Jim's Big Ego reminds me of my favorite Irish Cheesehead Pat McCurdy. I've been a Pat-head since college thus going on a decade now. Pat even was nice enough to play my 30th birthday party a few years back [at a local pub]. Pat probably has more "drinking songs" than Jim but then again he's Irish. Thanks for turning me on to some new holiday music. Happy Turkey Day from the worms!

I think notlob raises an outstanding question: have you considered renting a mini-van for the musical episodes? Think of the revenue potential...
worm 2 -- sounds like Pat would fit right in at any number of Boston pubs.
cj -- one logicistical (logical?) problem; the word "renting" implies that DriveTime actual has a budget!
Hello. I'm Portuguese. I saw the program in the discovery channel and I loved.
Bye bye and Good luck
